About Us
Dynamite Premiere Academy is an outstanding dance school in Mona Vale , Sydney that has been operating for over 30 years. Offering classes from Preschool through to Adult, and beginners to advanced in Ballet (RAD), Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Elite Classical Training and DPA Minnies – there is something for everyone!
All classes are designed to enable every student to reach their full potential in a safe, caring, and fun learning environment. The staff at DPA strive to create an atmosphere that enables all students to thrive and achieve.
There are many fabulous opportunities including ballet exams, concerts, competitions, workshops, assistant teacher training, international dance competitions, pre-professional programs and more. Dynamite Premiere Academy is a beautiful dance community that can provide you with fabulous classes, teachers, atmosphere and opportunities.
Dynamite Premiere Academy has had students selected both past and present for:
- Australian Ballet School Interstate Program - all levels
- Queensland Ballet Academy Guest Artis Program - all levels
- Finalists at the Royal Academy of Dance Joan and Monica Halliday and Isobel Anderson Awards
- Quarter Finalist at the Alana Haines Awards in New Zealand
- Students selected for Summer Intensive Programs at the Royal Ballet School , White Lodge London and Spring Intensive in Hong Kong
- Youth America Grand Prix short term recipients to John Crank Schule in Stuttgart, Germany, Rozella Hightower in France, Nervi Festival in Italy
- Students selected for Sydney Dance Company Youth Program
- Students selected fof Joffrey Ballet intensive in New York
- Have had many students continue their dance journe in full time ballet and dance programs eg. Tanya Pearson Academy, Alegria Dance Studios, Brent Street, Ev & Bow, and Ettinghausens after their valuable foundation training at DPA.
- Placegetters at the prestigious Sydney Eisteddfod and many other eisteddfods .

At Dynamite Premiere Academy each of our bespoke studios provide only the best flooring for our students. Our studios are one of a kind that you will not find any where else on the beaches.
The new studios at Dynamite Premiere Academy have invested, floor to ceiling mirrors, storage for students belongings and a state of the art Sprung flooring. Sprung flooring reduces the strain that comes with turning and pivoting movements, and, with the correct top layer, increases foot stability & reduces rolling resulting in a environment where our students love to be.
