Angus Parent

(Diploma of Dance) - Performance Jazz

Born and raised on the Central Coast, Angus began his dance training at the age of 3 at his local dance studio while simultaneously training with various teachers and programs across Sydney. In 2019 Angus graduated with his Diploma of Dance from Ev & Bow under the direction of Sarah Boulter and Lisa Bowmer. During his fulltime years he worked with many incredible choreographers from Sydney both in class and on professional jobs.

Since fulltime, Angus has worked with many local and international companies such as Opera Australia, Stephanie Lake Company and Norwegian Creative Studios to name a few. Angus has also performed for artists such as Sam Smith, Vanessa Amorosi and creative directors The Squared Division.

Angus started teaching from a young age, first assisting with younger classes to choreographing his first ever group piece at 14. Since then, his choreography has been seen across Sydney, Central Coast and Newcastle working with many different schools showcasing his creativity and passion. Angus comes with years of experience and knowledge that he is keen to pass onto the next generation of dancers and is excited to watch them learn and grow.
