Our Pre-school Bundle class consisting of Ballet and Dance and is a fabulous introduction to a variety of dance styles that will open your little one's eyes to the wonderful world of dance.
DPA Minnies is our very own hand- crafted dance program for Pre-schoolers. These classes will have an emphasis on fun, creativity and confidence in all aspects of ballet and dance. The class will consist of a mixture of ballet and jazz and the students may wear either ballet or jazz shoes. We have lots of fabulous props to engage the children and the class is specifically designed for 2-6 year olds.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do I wear?
The DPA Minnies Uniform is available to purchase via our website portal shop and pick up at reception. Own clothes are acceptable for a trial class or until you have purchased uniform as long as the uniform is purchased at earliest convenience. There will be a T-shirt available for Boys which can be worn with shorts.
What shoes do I wear?
Ballet shoes or jazz shoes can be worn for DPA Minnies to help protect little feet . Or they can have both if they would like.
Do parents watch classes?
Our experience shows that the learning environment is more effective when adults and siblings are not distracting the dancers in DPA Minnies. Our studio has a viewing/watching day each term which is a great way for parents to be a part of their child’s dancing experience and we encourage to come and watch on this day, last week of classes Term 1, 2 and 3..
Does my child get to perform?
All of our dancers have the option of participating in a demonstration showcase once a year. This year we held it at Newport Public School and our Minnies and their families had the best time.
How much are classes?

Do you have parking onsite?
Unfortunately we do not, however Pittwater Place is just a short walk away, and there is often street parking available
Where to after the DPA Minnies?
Once your child commences Kindergarten at school your child will then join the Pre-Primary Bundle classes

DPA Minnies - 9.45 -10.30am (2-5 year olds)
SATURDAYS
DPA Minnies - 8.45 - 9.30am (2-5 year olds)
DPA Minnie's 5yrs+ - 9.30 - 10.15 ( 5+ years - for children commencing school in 2025)

Clothing & Uniform
DPA Minnies Tutu dress and bows for girls / DPA T-shirt or Black T-shirt with black shorts for boys available from reception.
Theatrical pink ballet tights in winter/ pale pink ballet socks in summer
Pink Ballet Shoes with elastic for DPA Minnies
Tan elastabooties can also be worn for DPA Minnies

Hair
Hair in Neat Bun or neat ponytail for DPA Minnies, neat hair for boys
